During the creating my @ sign, the design process adapted and I finally decided to incorporate some LED lighting and Acrylic shapes. To help the LED strip to wrap around the inside of the shape I had to design a layer with enough of a gap to allow for the strip. I also incorporated a hole to allow the connection between the wiring of the strip and the external battery pack.
When the face of the sign was added, all the internal workings would be hidden.
