While driving in Wales near Betws-y-Coed we stumbled across a stone circle set back from the road and decided to turnaround and make our way over to it. Although we found out later that this stone circle was constructed in 1951, it was still nice to have a little stop on our journey. The town was quaint and the bridge over to the stones went past an ivy covered cottage. The kids enjoyed hiding behind the stones, and enjoyed playing on the nearby park.
We also found a cheeky little gargoyle.
